Kansas Writers Association

KWA
The mission of KWA is to inform, support, encourage, and promote the writer.  The organization meets the third Saturday of each month at the Rockwell Public Library at 1:30 PM.  Members received a monthly newsletter filled with contest and market information, as well as articles to help writers with their craft.  Monthly workshops are provided by local writers, experts, and industry leaders. You do not have to be published to join.


International Women's Writers Guild

The IWWG, founded in 1976, is a network for the personal and professional empowerment of women through writing.The Guild nurtures and supports women writers all over the world and celebrates their growth and achievement. 


Oklahoma Writer's Federation, Inc.

The Oklahoma Writers' Federation, Inc. is a multi-genre writers’ organization with more than 800 members from across the United States and around the world.


Wichita Professional Communicators

The WPC is an affiliate of the Kansas Professional Communicators and NFPW.  WPC is not only fun and informative, but it offers professional development and major networking opportunities for working communicators, freelancers, and career-directed students.  Membership is open to any person paid as a communicator.  Monthly meetings/greetings occur the first Wednesday of every month at Larkspur, 904 E. Douglas, at 11:30 sharp.


Kansas Authors Club

Since 1904, the Kansas Authors Club has welcomed all writers:  creative, technical, academic and journalistic. The club offers the opportunity for writers to share experiences and issues unique to the craft.  There is no substitute for the camaraderie developed when poets, playwrights and prose writers meet to listen, discuss and analyze their writing and the writing process in an atmosphere of mutual support


Kansas Professional Communicators

Kansas Professional Communicators is the only statewide organization of women and men representing the full spectrum of communication professionals.  The organization is made up of reporters, publishers and editors... public relations and advertising professionals... freelancers... Web site creators... journalism professors and teachers... photographers... entrepreneurs and consultants.


National Federation of Press Women

National Federation of Press Women is an organization of professional women pursuing careers across the communications spectrum.
